MT 173 Test stand for gears

The Test Stand for Gears is designed for determining the mechanical efficiency of different gear types.

It supports various gear configurations, including spur and worm gears, spur gears, bevel gears, and planetary gears, which are available as accessories.

The system is controlled via a PLC with a touchscreen interface and features an integrated router for remote operation, screen mirroring on up to five devices, and data access via WLAN/LAN.

A three-phase motor with variable speed, combined with an air-cooled magnetic particle brake, allows precise load control. Inductive sensors measure speed and torque, with real-time data displayed on the touchscreen.
