HM 225 Aerodynamics trainer
HM 225 Aerodynamics trainer
GUNT HM 225 aerodynamics trainer allows students to experimentally investigate airflow around different body shapes. The system is designed for streamlines visualization, pressure difference measurements, and aerodynamic force analysis. It helps understand the fundamental principles of fluid and gas flow, making it ideal for teaching physics and mechanical engineering at schools and universities.
More about the productGUNT HM 225
Aerodynamics Trainer is designed for experiments in flow dynamics, including flow around, through, and incident flow models, as well as steady incompressible flow.
The unit features a vertical measuring section with a flow straightener and nozzle, along with a radial fan controlled via a frequency converter.
Additional features include 16 tube manometers for pressure display, a thermometer for air temperature measurement, and quick-release fasteners for secure attachment of accessories.
Compatible accessories for various flow studies:
- Flow around bodies: Boundary layers (HM 225.02), Drag forces (HM 225.04), Coanda effect (HM 225.06), Visualization of streamlines (HM 225.08)
- Steady incompressible flow: Bernoulli’s principle (HM 225.03), Flow in a pipe elbow (HM 225.05), Free jets (HM 225.07)
