Experimental Flume is designed for fundamental studies of open-channel flow and hydraulic engineering applications. It features a 2.5m experimental section, extendable to 5m with the HM 160.10 extension module. The flume inclination is smoothly adjustable to simulate different flow conditions.
The side walls are made of tempered glass, ensuring clear visibility of the experiments, while the corrosion-resistant construction guarantees durability. The inlet element is optimized for low-turbulence flow, ensuring precise results. The experimental section includes 10 evenly spaced threaded holes, allowing for model installation or water level measurement using pressure sensors.
The flume operates in a closed water circuit, featuring a 280L tank, a high-capacity pump, a rotameter, and manual flow adjustment. A wide range of optional hydraulic engineering models can be integrated for advanced research.
