System provides hands-on experience with heat pump and refrigeration technology.
Users can set different operating modes via solenoid valves controlled through the GUNT software.
The refrigeration circuit includes a compressor, a condenser (heat exchanger with fan), and two evaporators with fans for refrigeration and freezing stages.
A glycol-water circuit with a tank, pump, and coaxial coil heat exchanger is integrated.
The coaxial coil heat exchanger and heat exchanger with a fan can function as either a condenser or an evaporator within the refrigeration circuit.
Each heat exchanger and evaporator is equipped with a thermostatic expansion valve.
Additionally, an evaporation pressure controller and a capillary tube are included for the refrigeration stage evaporator.
The GUNT software displays temperature, pressure, flow rate, and compressor power consumption, and precisely calculates the refrigerant mass flow rate.
Data acquisition is available via USB on Windows 10.
